RESOLUTION No. 1587
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
INVITATION TO BECOME A PRODUCER MEMBER OF THE CENTRAL BASIN
WATER ASSOCIATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Central Basin Water Association under date
of March 28, 1952 invited the City of Vernon to become a pro-
ducer member of the Central Basin Water Association; and
WHEREAS, after full investigation of the purposes and
objectives of said Association,. and the report of W. B.
Holli~gworth, City Engineer of said City, recommending said
membership;
NOW, THE'REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the City of Vernon accept said invita-
tion and become a producer member of the Central Basin Water
Association.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
