RESOLUTION NO. 1598
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
WORK DONE BY BARBER-BRIDGE DRILLING CORP., LTD. ON WELL NO. 11
IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 153 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon did
heretofore enter into a contract dated December 19, 1950 with
Barber-Bridge Dri11ing Corp., Ltd. for the drilling, casing,
8 -perforating, developing and testing of Wel1 No. 11 in accordance
9 with Specifications No. 153 of the City of Vernon; and
10 WHEREAS, the Barber-Bridge Drilling Corp., Ltd. has
11 completed the work and furnished the material in accordance with
12 the aforesaid contract; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon did
14 examine the work and materials and recommends that said work
15 and materials be accepted by the City of Vernon;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1:
That the furnishing and delivery to the
City of Vernon of the work and materials specified in the afore-
19

mentioned contract in accordance with the aforementioned specifi-
cations be, and the same are hereby accepted as completed in
accordance with the terms of the aforesaid contract.

Section 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is

hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shal1 be in full force and effect.
