2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 167 NOW ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
3 CLERK OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE FURNISHING AND
DELIVERY OF ONE NEW DEEP WELL TURBINE PUMPING UNIT FOR WATi1R
4 WELL NO. 11
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 That Specifications No. 167 submitted by W. B. Holling-
7 worth, City Engineer of the City of Vernon, for the furnishing
8 and delivery to the City of Vernon of one new deep well turbine
9 pumping unit for Water Wel1 No. 11 in accordance with the City
10 of Vernon Specifications No. 167, now on file in the office of the
11 City Clerk of the City of Vernon, California, be, and they are
12 hereby, approved.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice invit-
14 ing sealed proposals or bids to be furnished to the City of Vernon,
15 California, at the office of the City Clerk of said City, at the
16 City Hall, 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, California, until the
17 hour of 2:00 0' clock P.M. of. July 15, 1952, for the furnishing and
18 delivery to the City of Vernon of one new deep well turbine pumping
19 unit for Water Well No. 11 in accordance with Specifications No.
20 167 herein approved.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to
22 the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
23 same shall be in full force and effect.
