A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
3 THE ABSORPTION OF ANY LOSSES ARISING FROM THE COLLECTION OF
DELINQUENT TAXES GROWING OUT OF MONEY ADVANCED FOR THE SEVEijAL
4 BOND FUNDS FOR ALL YEARS UP TO AND INCLUDING THE FISCAL YEAR
1950-51.

THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 THAT, WHEREAS, the City Treasurer pursuant to an order
8 of the City Council has heretofore advanced moneys from the Gen-
9 eral Fund of the City to the various bond interest and redemption
10 funds of the City, with the understanding that all collections
11 made subsequent to the date of the respective advances shall be
12 repaid to the general fund, and
13 WHEREAS, all of sa1d moneys have not been repaid to
14 the General Fund, but said general fund has received penalties
15 and interest upon delinquent taxes, and
16 WHEaEAS, the amount involved is very small and requ1res
17 an elaborate record to determine the amount of delinquent taxes
18 due from the bond funds to the general fund, and
19 WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council, there will
20 be no loss to general fund;
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: That all delinquent taxes for all years to
and including the fiscal year 1950-51 be the property of the
General Fund and any losses arising from the collection of delin-
quent taxes for these years caused by the advancement to the
several bond funds be absorbed by the general fund.

Section 2:
Th1s resolution shall take effect as of
June 30, 1952.
Section 3:
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall

1 remain in effect until further order of the City Council.
