A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING
THE CITY TREASURER TO TRANSFER FRON THE GENERAL FUND TO THE
LIGHT & POWER FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF $300,000.00.
THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, on the 30th day of January, 1950, by Resolution
No. 1468, the City Treasurer of the City of Vernon was authorized
and directed to transfer from the Light & Power Fund of said
City to the General Fund the sum of Three Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($300,000.00); and

WHEREAS, the General Fund of said City is now in a
position to repay said Light & Power Fund the money so advanced;
NOW ,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1:
That the City Treasurer be, and he is
hereby direoted to transfer from the General Fund of the City
of Vernon to the Light & Power Fund of said City the sum of
Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00).
Section 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon Shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
Adopted and Approved this 26th day of August, 1952.
