RESOLUTION No. 1627
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ADJUSTING
3 RETROACTIVE PAY OF CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 1625 made
6 pay of city employees retroactive to July 1, 1952; and
7 WHEREAS, said resolution created positions not hereto-
8 fore classified; and
9 WHEREAS, certain employees of the City of Vernon per-
10 formed the work from July 1, 1952, in the new positions created
11 by Resolution No. 1625;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1:
That Walter E. Ross, having performed the
14 services of Assistant Light & Power Accountant from July 1, 1952
15 he is entitled to an adjusted additional compensation at the rate
16 of $25.00 per month;
17 That George G. Skalsky, having performed the services
18 of Water Department Clerk from July 1, 1952, he is entitled to
19 adjusted additional compensation at the rate of $25.00 per month;
20 That Mrs. J. A. Bigham, having performed the services
21 of Janitor's Assistant, part time, from July 1, 1952, she is
22 entitled to adjusted additional compensation at the rate of $15.00
23 per month.

Section 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
