A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF VERNON DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE
INVITING BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING AND INSTALIATION COMPLETE OF
TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS AND ACCESSORY EQUIPMENT AT SANTA FE AVENUE
AND 55TH STREET, PACIFIC BOULEVARD AND FRUITLAND AVENUE# AND
SLAUSON A VENUE AND ALC OA A VENUE, IN THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORN IA. .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to give notice inviting bids for the furnishing
and installation complete of traffic control signals and accessory
equipment at the intersections of Santa Fe Avenue and 55th Street#
Pacific Boulevard and Fruitland Avenue# and Slauson Avenue and
Alcoa Avenue.
Section 2. There being no newspaper of general circu-
lation printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon,
the City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice# or cause
the same to be posted, in three of the most public places in said
City# to wit: The northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe
Avenue; the northwest corner of 37th street and Santa Fe Avenue
and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the Pity Hall of the
City of Vernon located at 4305 ;;$anta Fe Avenue in said City..
Section ~. The first posting of said notice shall be not
less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the
proposed project.
The Notice shall distinctly state the project to be done.
The Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals or Bids shall set the
date for opening of said bids.
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
