RESOLUTION NO. 1648

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING
3 THE EXPENDITURE OF FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) TO PAY THE FILING PEE
TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COI>1lVIISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR
4 THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR A CROSSING ON BICKETT STREET IN
THE CITY 0:8' VERNON.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VE~NON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the filing of
8 an application with the Public Utilities Commission of the State
9 of California for approval of a street crossing over the tracks of
10 the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company and the Union Pacific
11 Railroad Company, and
12 WrlEREAS, the Public Utilities Commission requires a
13 filing fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for the filing of said
14 application;
15 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
17 hereby directs that the City Treasurer issue a check of the City
18 of Vernon to the Public Utilities Commission of the State of
19 California in the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for said filing
20 fee.

Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
22 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and
23 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
24 effect.
25 Adopted and Approved this 3rd day of February, 1953.
