A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON EXTENDING
TIME FOR THE COMPLETION OF WORK UNDER CONTRACT WITH ROSCOE MOSS
CO~~ANY DATED AUGUST 5, 1952 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS
NO. 166 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

THAT WHEREAS, Roscoe Moss Company entered into a con-
tract with the City of Vernon under date of August 5, 1952 to
drill two water wells in accordance with Specifications No. 166

of said City; and

WHEREAS, the said contractors have requested additional

time to complete said wells; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon recom-
13
mends that the extension of time for completion of the work be
14
granted;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: That the time given the contractor for com-
pletion of the work under Specifications No. 166, and contract
dated August 5, 1952, be extended to and including the 29th day of
July, 1953.

Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution, and there-
upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
