A RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF VERNON, ON THE PASSING OF JONATHAN J. HOLLIBAUGH, A
COUNCILMAN OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON PARK.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, Almighty God, in His infinite wisdom, has
called from among us Jonathan J. Hollibaugh, Councilman of the
City of Huntington Park, our friend and fellow public servant; and

WHEREAS, by his passing the City of Huntington Park and
the State of California has lost a valuable and conscientious
servant and citizen, whose sterling worth and genial disposition
endeared him to those who knew him best;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REMEI"lBERED:

That each member of the City Council of the City of Vernon
share with you the deep feeling of loss thus sustained, and
BE IT RESOLVED:
Section It That this Resolution be adopted by the City

Council of the City of Vernon, in regular session, and a copy
thereof be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and a copy
20
thereof be forwarded to the Council of our neighbor, The City
21
of Huntington Park, California;
22
Section 2: That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
23
certify to the passage of this Resolution.

Adopted and Approved this 16th day of June, 1953.
