RESOLUTION NO. 1666
2 A RESOLUTION OF. THE ,CITY COUNCIL OF THE, CITY OF VERNON A.UTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A. tEASE AGREEMENT FOR RENTAL OF MOTOR EQUIPMENT.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLI.OWS:
5 WHEREAS~ the City of Vernon has been investigating
6 the supplying ,of motor cars and equipment to the Police Depart-
7 mentof said city; and
8 WHEREAS, after investigation it is determined to be
9 more economical to the City of Vernon to rent said motor cars
10 and equipment than to purchase and maintain the same; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council and the Chief of Police of
12 the City of Vernon have determined that the contract of the
13 Pacific Fleet Systems is more advantageous to the City of Vernon
14 than any other;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Se~tion 1: That the attached Lease Agreement, together
with the Lease Supplement attached hhereto, of the Pacific Fleet
Systems, is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are directed
to exeoutethe same.
Section 2:
The City Clerk of :the City of Vernon shall

certify to the pas.sage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
