3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEI'1ENT NO. 2 TO THE CAR
4 RENTAL CONTRACT OF PACIFIC FLEET SYSTEHS DATED JUNE 16, 1953.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Oity of Vernon, on or about the 16th
day of June, 1953, entered into a car rental agreement with the
Pacific Fleet Syst~ms; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to cancel Supplement
No. 1 of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Lessor under said contract consents to
said cancellation; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Fleet Systems has submitted and
proposed the acceptance of Supplement No. 2 to said contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined and passed
upon the terms of said Supplement No. 2 effective as of September
1, 1953;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1:
That Supplement No. 1 of the aforesaid
contract of June 16, 1953 be and the same is hereby cancelled;
that Supplement No. 2 proposed as a part of said lease contract
is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Vernon are hereby authorized to execute said Supplement No. 2
for and on behalf of the City of Vernon, said Supplement to be
effective as of September 1, 1953.
Section 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
