RESOLUTION NO. 1693
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE OI'nCOUNOIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DE:CLARING
PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES TO BE USED FOR THE FURNISHING,
3 ERECTING.. PAINTING, AND DELIVERY COMPLETE IN PLACE, INCLUDING
GRADING AND FOUNDATIONS, OF FIVE (5) WELDED STEEL WATER STORAGE
4 RESERVOIRS OF APPROXIMATELY ONE MILLION GALLONS CAPACITY EACH FOR
THE OITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, IN AOCORDANCE WITH ENGINEER'S SPEC 1-
5 FICATIONS NO. 171.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The City Oouncil of the City or Vernon has
8 ascertained and doe s he!'eby find and declare that the general
9 prevailing rate per diem t:or wages for labo!'ers, workmen and mechanics
10 employed by contractors arid sub-contractors, for the doing or any
11 work set rorth in Specifications No.171,wbich Specirications were
12 duly adopted by the City Council on October 21/!,1953, in Resolution
13 No.

l691 , is as follows:
The general prevailing rate of the per diem wages, rates
15 for Legal Holidays, and overtime work, in the locality in which
16
this WOrk is to be perfo~ed, for each craft or type of workman
17
or mechanic needed to execute the contract which will be awaroded
18
to the successful bidder, is determined to be as follows:

Foreman: Shall be paid not less than 17~ cents per hour more' than

For any craft not included .in the above list, the minimum
25 per diem wages shall be the general prevailing wages for the locality,
