RESOLUTION NO. 1694
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
3 A GRANT FROM UNIVERSAL CAST IRON MFG. CO. INC., TO A PORTION OF
LOT 17 JNO. R. TAYLOR'S VEfu"ifON A VENUE VILLA LOTS, AS PER MAP
4 REC ORDED IN BOOK 4, PAGE 42 OF MAPS, IN THE OFF! CE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, Universal Cast Iron Mfg. Co. Inc., has granted
8 to the City of Vernon a right...of-way and easement with r1 ght
9 of access, in, over, along and across a strip of land situated
10 in the Ci ty of Vernon, County of Los Angeles, State of Califom ia.,
11 being the northerly fifty (50) feet of the east half of Lot 17,
12 Jno. R. Taylor's Vernon Avenue Villa Lots, as per map recorded
13 in Book 4, Page 42 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
14 of Los Angeles County, California;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1:
That the City Council of the City of
Vernon hereby accepts the aforesaid grant and easement, together
wi th the prope rty conveyed thereby, and directs the recording
of sai d easement grant wi th the County Recorder of Los Angeles
Oounty, California.
Section 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force a.nd effect.
Adopted and Approved this 21th day of October, 1953.
