A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 174 AND PLAN NO. B14-1275 FOR THE CON$TRUCTION
OF FIRE STATION NO. 2 WITH TOWER AND APPURTENANCES, TO BE LOCATED
AT 3375 FRUITLAND AVENQE IN TB,:E CITY OF. VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, it is necessary that Fire Station No. 2 be
constructed in the City of Vernon to provide ~or the fire pro-
tection needs of said City; and
WHEREAS, under date o~ August 19, 1952 by Resolution
No. 1619 the City Council employed Albert C. Martin and Associates,

Architects and Engineers, to prepare plans and speci~ications for
said work, which are submitted herewith and re~erred to as

Specifications No. 174 and Plan No. B14-1275; and
WHEREAS, said plans and specifications have been
approved by the City Engineer, Building Engineer and Fire Chief
of the City of Vernon;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That Speci~ications No. 174 and Plan No.
B14-l275 prepared by Albert C. Martin and Associates, Architects
and Engineers, be, and the same are hereby approved as the
specifications and plans for the construction of Fire Station
No. 2 with Tower and Appurtenances, at 3375 Fruitland Avenue, in
the City of Vernon;
Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certi~y to the passage or this Resolution and thereupon and there-
a~ter the same shall be in full rorce and effect.
