A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DIRECTING
THE GIVING OF NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OR BIDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION NO.2 WITH TOWER AND APPURTENANCES,
AT 3375 FRUITLAND AVENUE, IN THE crry OF VE,RNON, Il'iACCORD,ANCE
WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 174 AND PUN NO.. B14-l275 OF SAID CITY.

6 frHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
8 hereby directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids
9 for the construction of Fire Station No. 2 with Tower and Appur-
10 tenances, at 3375 Fruitland Avenue, in the City of Vernon, in
11 accordance with Specifications No. 174 and Plan No. B14-1275
12 of said City.

Section 2:
There being no newspaper of general cir-
14 culatlon printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon,
15 the City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause
16 the same to be posted, in three of the most public places in said
17 City, to wit: The northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe
18
A venue;
the northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific
19
Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall
of the City of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said
City;

Section 3: The first posting of said notice shall be
not less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for
the proposed construction work to be done.

The Notice shall distinctly state the construction
work to be performed.
Section 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
