THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DECLARING PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES TO BE USED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 3 FIRE STA'rION NO.2 WITH TOWER, AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE CITY OF VEIDfON, CALIFORNIA, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY ENGINEER'S SPECIF'ICATIONS 4 NO. 171+. 5 THE CITY COUNCIL OJ? THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 6 7 Section 1. The 110urly v~ge rate shall be 6 the per diem rate divided by the aforementioned number of hours 7 constituting a working day. 8 Notice is also hereby given that, pursuant to said Labor 9 Code or California, it shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to 10 whom the contract is awarded, and upon any sub-contractor under him, 11 12 to pay to all laborers, workmen or mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract not less than the said specified rates, 13 which rates shall be included in the contract to the successrul 14 bidder. 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 Section 2. The City Clerk or the Cit-;l of Vernon shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
