RESOLUTION NO. 1724
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
3 IMPROVEMENT OF 46TH STREET FROM BOYLE AVENUE TO ALCOA AVENUE IN
THE CITY OF VERNON, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 173,
4 CITY PERr~TS, AND CITY ENGINEER'S PLANS NOS. B4B~1247, A3-l245
AND Al-1246.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has
8 reported to the City Council under date of January 4, 1954, that
9 the work done. by the Central Manufacturing District, Inc., in
10 the improvement of 46th Street, from Boyle Avenue to Alcoa Avenue,
11 in the City of Vernon, in accordance with Specifications No. 173
12 and under City Permits, and City Engineer's Plans Nos. B4B-1247,
13 A3-1245 and Al-1246, has been completed in a satisfactory manner;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, said City Engineer recommends that said improve-
16 ment work be accepted by the City, and the Central Manufacturing
17 District, Inc. be advised of the acceptance;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEn:

Section 1: That the improvement work on 46th Street
20 from Boyle Avenue to Alcoa Avenue, in the City of Vernon, be,
21 and the same is hereby accepted as having been completed in a
22 satisfactory manner;

Section 2:
The City Clerk is hereby requested to
24
notify the Central Manufacturing District, Inc. of the acceptance
of said improvement;
25
Section 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
