RESOLUTION NO. 1725
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
INSTALLATION OF TWELVE (12) INCH DIAMETER CAST IRON WATER ~~IN
AND APPURTENANCES IN BANDINI BOULEVARD, (PRIVATE STRE,ET), FROM
1136.44 FEET TO 2725.66 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF .DOWNEY
ROAD IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has
reported to the City Council under date of January 4, 1954, that
the installation of twelve (12) inch diameter cast iron water
main and appurtenances in Bandini Boulevard (Private Street),
from 1136.44 feet to 2725.66 feet west of the center line of
Downey Road in the City of Vernon has been completed in a satis-
factory manner in accordance with Specifications No. 172 and
under City Permit and City Engineer's Plan No. B4B-1160 as re-
vised July, 1953; and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer recommends acceptance of
said installation as having been completed in a satisfactory
manner under said Plans and Specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That the installation of twelve (12) inch
diameter cast iron water main and appurtenances in Bandini Boule-
vard (Private Street), from 1136.44 feet to 2725.66 feet west of
the center line of Downey Road in the City of Vernon be, and the
same is hereby accepted as having been completed i~a satisfactory
manner;
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
notify Mr. John H. Saunders of the Filtrol Corporation, Agent.for
abutting property owners, of the acceptance of said installation.
Section 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and
