To the Honorable City Council:
Ordinance No. 642 of the City of Vernon, in Sec-
tion 7(4), makes it the duty of the Chief of Police
to install "No Parking" areas wherever authorized
by the City Council.
On occasion the City Council has indicated its
approval of the installation of "No Parking" areas
at certain locations, but the minutes have not re-
flected the Council's authorization. If it meets
with the approval of the Council, I would like to
have specific authorization entered in the minutes
for the areas in question.
I will be happy to supply the descriptions for
these "No Parking" areas.
