AS .FOLLO"WS: 7 8 9 -, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon heretofore by appropriate resolution recognized thirty years of competent, loyal, and unselfish service of Ernest Giles as Chief 11 WHERE.A.S, the City Council of the City of Vernon recognizes 12 that the greatest compensation one receives for duty well performed 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 32 is the personal satisfaction felt, yet realizing that next to excellency is the appreciation.
