7 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1:
The City Clerk of the Oity or Vernon is
9 hereby directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids
10 for the construction of Fire Station No. 2 with Tower and appur-
11 tenances, including handball court, curbs, sidewalks, asphaltic
12 and concrete pavements, retaining wall, and other site improve-
13 menta as prescribed in the drawings and specifications No. 174
14 as revised, at 3375 Fruitland Avenue, in the City of Vernon.

There being no newspaper of general cir-
Section 2:
16 culation printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon,
17 the City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause
18 the same to be pos ted, in thr,ee of the most public places in said
19 City, to wit: The northwest corner of 38th Street and S,a.nta Fe
Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific
Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City,
Hall of the City of. Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in
said City;
Section 3:
The first posting of said notice shall be
not less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for
the proposed construction work to be done.
The Notice shall distinctly state the construction work
to be performed.
Section 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passa.ge of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
