WHEREAs, the. Southern California Edison Company, a
California "corporation, has requested the City of Vernon to trans-
fer to it certain personal property belonging to the City of Vernon,
which property is subject to the terms and conditions of that cer-
tainagreement entered into between the City of Vernon and the
Southern California Edison Company, a California corporation, on
the 23rd day of Febr~ary, 1937, together with the renewal, supple-
ments and modifications of said agreement, so that the Southern
California Edison Company, a California corporation, may transfer
said personal property to the Aluminum Company of America, a
Pennsylvania corporation, the said Aluminum Company of America
being a subscriber on the power system of the City of V.rnon; and
WHEREAS, the legal aspect of the transfer has been
approved by Carson B. Hubbard, City Attorney of the City of Vernon,

and the description of the property to be transferred has been
approved by Carl A. Heinze, Consulting Electrical Engineer of the
City of Vernon;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the
