A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
3 DRAWINGS FOR ONE HYDRAULIC SAND EXTRACTOR FOR WATER WELLNO. 13
OF T,HE CITY OF VERNON WATER DEPARTMENT.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to place Well No. 13
7 of the City of Vernon Water Department in satisfactory operation,
8 that a hydraulic sand extractor be installed; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Engineer reports to the City Council
10 under date of April 16, 1954 that said e~ipment is patented and
11 plans and specifications as shown on Drawing No. 11015 - Ex 33.1,
12 dated October 21, 1953 of Leeds, Hill and Jewett, Consulting En-
13 gineers of Los Angeles, California, be purchased and that the fee
14 of said Consulting Engineers for standard design drawing and patent
15 rights for one hydraulic sand extractor is $75.00;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1:
That Drawing No. 11015 - Ex 33.1, dated
October 21, 1953, of Leeds, Hill and Jewett, Consulting Engineers,
of Los Angeles, California, be and the same is hereby approved
as the drawing for one hydraulic sand extractor for Water Well
No. 13 of the City of Vernon Water Department.
Section 2:
That the fee of $75.00 be approved for
said Consulting Engineers for the standard design drawing ,and
patent rights for one hydraulic sand extractor;
Section 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
