A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE FABRICATION, FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF
ONE HYDRAULIC SAND EXTRACTOR FROM LACY MANUFACTURING
COMPANY AND AUTHORIZING 90% PAYMENT OF CONTRACT PRICE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon did heretofore
enter into a contract dated May 18, 1954 with Lacy Manufacturing Company
for the fabrication, furnishing and delivery to the City of Vernon of one
hydraulic sand extractor; and

WHEREAS, Robert H. King, Sanitation Engineer of the City of
Vernon has reported to the City CouncH, under date of July 30, 1954,
that said Lacy Manufacturing Company has completed the furnishing and

delivery of said sand extractor in a satisfactory manner in accordance
14
with Drawing No. 11015-Ex. 33.1 of Leeds, Hill and Jewett.. Consulting
Engineers, dated October 21, 1953, now on file with the City Clerk;

NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

18 Section 1: That one hydraulic sand extractor fabricated, furnished
19 and delivery by Lacy Manufacturing Company to the City of Vernon is
20 hereby accepted as being completed in a satisfactory manner in accordance

21 with Drawing No. 11015-Ex. 33.1 of Leeds, Hill and Jewett, Consulting
Engineers. dated October 21, 1953;

Section 2: That there is now due Lacy Manufacturing Company
under said contract the sum of $1,984.71, being 90% of the contract
price of said work.
Section 3:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby approves
and directs payment of 90% of said contract price, to wit: the sum of
$1.. 984. 71 to Lacy Manufacturing Company as of this date.
Section 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to
the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
