A RESOLUTION OF T:B:;E CITY COUNCLL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING WORK. ON BICKETT STREET FROM 54TH STREET TO THE
SOUTH CITY BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF VERNON IN ACCORDANCE
WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 163 AND CITY ENGINEER'S DRAWINGS
PLANS NOS. BID-l110 (1 SHEET) AND A3-1111 (3 SHEETS)~ HERETOFORE
APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCLL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREASs abutting property owners haves- under private con-
tracts completed the improvement of Bickett Street from 54th Street to the
South City Boundary of the City of Vernon; and
W.HER.EASs s.aid work was done under inspection of the City
Engineerfsoffice of the City of Vernons .and in accordance with Plans and
Specifications heretofore approved by the City Council of the City of
Vernon. That the Associate Engineer' of the City of Vernon recommends
that said work be accepted;

NOW. THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

. SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
1 7 accepts the work of improvement of Bickett street from 54th Street to the
18 South City Boundary of the City of Vernon in accordance with Specifications
19 No. 163 and City Engineer's Drawings Plans Nos. B4D-I110 (1 sheet) and
20 A3-11l1 (3 sheets) as having been done in a satisfactory manners and that
21 the followmgabutting property owners be advised of the acceptance:
22 Air Reduction Pacific Company, 5600 Bickett St. s Vernon;
23 Lane Wells CompanYT 5610 S. Soto Streets Huntington Park;
24 Levine Cooperage Companys 5400 S. Soto Streets Vernon.

SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.

contract, completed the improvement of Bickett street from
54th Street to the South City Boundary of the City of Vernon,
in accordance with Specifications No. 163 and City Bngineerts
Drawings Plans Nos. B~_D-IIIO (1 sheet) and A3-1111 (3 sheets),
as approved by the City Co~mcil in Resolution No. 1674, dated
July 21, 1953.
All of the work was done under inspection by this
Office and L~ accordance with the Specifications and Plans
mentioned above.
It is therefore recommended that the said work be
accepted and that the following abutting property owners be
advised of the acceptance:
