THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Flood Co.ntrol District is
desiro-us of securing certain rights in and to said pro.perty for storm
drains and pertinent structures as required under Specificati.o.ns fo.r East
Co.mpton Creek No. ISto.rmDrain; and
WHEREA.S, the Los Angeles Co.unty Flood Control District has
presented an Easement to be executed by the City o.f Vernon t.o .acco.mp1ish
the above purpo.se.s; and
WHEREAS" the City Co.un.cil of the City of Verno.n finds it is to
the best interest of said City that said Easement be given;
NOW. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESQLVED:
SECTION 1: The Mayo.r and the City Clerk o.f the City of
Vernon are hereby ~nstructed and di.rected to. execute an Easement to the
Los. Angeles Co.unty Flood Control Distri.ct covering certain rights in
