A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING: A DEED FROM LOS ANGELES TRAN:Srr LINES TO VARIOlJS
RIGHTS~ TITLES.. AND lNTERESTSIN LEONIS BOULEVARD AND IN
SANTA FEA VENUE SOUTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF VERNON AVENUE
PROJECTED EASTERLY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the Los Angeles Transit Lines: has submitted. a.
Deed to various rights,. titles,. and interests it. may have in Leonis Boule-
vard and in Sant.a. Fe Avenue south of the south line of Vernon Avenue

projected easterly; and

WHEREAS,., the L.os Angeles Transit Lines has excepted
various crossings of its trac.ks with tracks: of the severa.! steam railroads
involved~ aU.in accordance with letter agreement dated May 2.0,. 1954 and
Ordinance No. 672 dated June 1,. 1954 of said City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS... A. W. Phillips,., AS.sociate Engineer of the City
of Vernon has checked the descriptions .and. exceptionsa.nd reports that they
conform to letter agreement of May 20,. 1954 between the City of Vernon
and the Los Angeles Transit Lines:, and City Ordinance No. 672. of the
City of Vernon;

NOW~ TBEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:

That the City Council of the City of Vernon
accept the aforesaid Deed from the hos: Angeles. Transit Lines dated
S.eptember 7~ 1954,. together with the prOperty and rights conveyed thereby,
and hereby directs the recording of said Deed with the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County~ California;
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage ,of this Res.olution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shaUbe in fun force and effect.
