A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON:
ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FROM THE CENTRAL MANUFACTURING
DlSTRICT~lNC. ~ TO A PORTION OF LOTS 15 AND 16 OF TRACT NO.
14256 FOR USE AS A PUBLIC STREET~ AND NAMING SAID STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS~ the CentralManufacturingDistrict~ Inc.., has
granted to the City of Vernon an . easement across a parcel of 4md being
a portion of Lots. 15 and 16 of Tract No. 14256 in the City of Vernon for
us e <itS a. public street; and
WHEREAS, said description of 4md has been checked by
A. W. Phillips... Associate Engineer of the City of Vernon" and said Deed
of Easement has been approved by Carson B. Hubbard,. City Attorney"
as to form; and
WHEREAS,., it is necessary to name aaidstreet;
NOW~ THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
, .
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
accepts the aforesaid Deed of Ea.semem,.: together with the property con-
veyed thereby ,.and directs the reco.rding of said Deed with the County
Recorder of Los Angeles . County... California.
SECTION 2:
The City Council o.f the City of Vernon hereby
names the street to. be constructed on the property conveyed in said
Deed as ltLUER ROAD".
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the pas:s.ageof this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5th day of October,. 1954.
