RESOLUTION NO. 1792
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 EMPLOYING QUINTON ENGINEERSs LTD. TO MAKE A PRELIMINARY
SURVEY OF TRAFFIC PROBLEMS IN THE CITY OF VERNON IN
4 ACCORDANCE WITH ENGINEERS LETTER OF NOVEMBER 29,. 1954.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS,. the Quinton Engineers, Ltd. has suhmitie"da
7 pro.po.sed co.ntract fo.r ma.king a preliminary surveyo.f traffic pro.blems
8 in the City o.f Vernon; and
9 WHEREAS,. a co.pyo.f said pro.posal is attached to. this
10 Reso.lutio.n and inco.rpo.rated herein by reference; and
11 WHEREAS,. the City Co.uncil believes it is fo.r the best
12 interest o.f the City of Verno.n that said survey be made.. and that said
13 agreement be entered into. between the City o.f Vernon and the said
14 Engineers;
15 NOW;y THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Mayo.r and the City Clerk are
17 herebyauthori~ed to. execute an agreement,. as attached hereto,. fo.r the
18 doing o.f the wo.rk and making the repo.rt as set fo.rth in said agreement.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerko.f the City of Vernon shall
20 certify to. the passage o.f this Reso.lution and thereupon and thereafter
21 the same shall be in full fo.rceand effect.
