ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING OF MISCELLANEOUS
MATERlALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR .PUMPING PLANTS NOS. 2 AND 3

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, on the 15th day of February, 1955, sealed bids
were opened for the furnishing of miscellaneous water works materials

and equipment for City of Vernon Pumping Plants Nos. 2 and 3, in
accordance withSpeciflcations No. 183 and Addenda.Nos. 1, 2 and 3.,. as
prepared by James 1I.Montgomery.. Consulting :Engineer; and
WHEREAS. said bids were referred to James M. Kontgomery..
Consulting Engineer.. who reported to A. W. Phillips. City Engineer.
under date of.February23. 1955 giving m.s recommendations; and
~, said Specifications No. 183 and Addenda Nos. 1.
2 and 3 were heretof'ore approved by the City Council of the City of
Vernon by Resolutions Nos. 1800. 1806 and 1868; and
WHEREAS,. A. W.Phillips.. City Engineer.. reports to the
City Council under da.te of February 24, 1955.. recommending that con-
tracts be awarded the following bidders, each of which is the lOWest
bidder meeting the bid requirements of the specifications for the respective
bidding 51 chedules:
