A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO SPECIFICATIONS NO. 179 FOR
SANITARY SEWER MAIN AND WATER MAIN IN 27TH STREET~ (A
PRIVATE STREET) WESTERLY EXTENSION IN TRACT NO. 1561 IN
THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREASs under date of December 7s 1954", the City
8 Council of the City of Vernon approved Specifications No. 179 and Draw-
9 ings." Plans Nos. Al-1295 and B4B-1296 for Sanitary Sewer Main and
10 Water Main in 27th Street (a private street) Westerly Extension in Tract
11 No. 1561; and
12 WHEREAS. under date of February 28:, 1955:, A. W. Phillips...
13 City Engineer of the City of Vernon informed the City Council that the
14 use of ca.st iron pipe for the water line was not advisable.., and submitted
15 Addendum No. 1 to Specifications No. 179 substituting wrought iron pipe
16 in plaeeofeast iron pipe in said Specification" and recommends the
17 approval of Addendum No.1;

18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Addendum No.1 to Specifications No.
20 179 be,. and the same is hereby approved as part of the specifications
21 and plans for furnishing and installing Sanitary Sewer Main and Water
22 Main in 27th street (a private street) westerly extension in Tract No. 1561.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be In full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day of March, 1955.
