A RESOLtITION OF THE CITY C()UNCIL OF. THE CITY OF VERNON

6 THE CITY COUNCU. .oF THE CITY QF VERNQN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS., t.he City Engineer of the City 01 Vernon has
8 reported to t.he City Council under date o.fMarch 10s 1955, that the work
9 done by N. P. Van Valkenburgh Company in the construction andinstalla-
10 tion of cast iron water mains,. and appurtenances, in Vernon Avenue from
11 Alcoa Avenue tOJ)o.wney Road, in Ilo.wney.Ro.ad fro.m Vernon Avenue to
12 FruitIandAvenue,and in FruitIand. Avenue from Alco.a Avenue to J)o:wney
13 Road in accordance with Specifications No. 180 and City Engineer's
14 Drawings". Plans No.s.B4C-12.97, B4C-1298an:d B4C-1299, has been
15 completed in a. satisfacto.ry manner; and
16 WHEREAS, said City Engineer recommends that said improve-
17 ment work be. accepted by the City and that the Contractor be advised of
18 the acceptance;
19 NOW, THEREFOR.E.. BE IT RES.OL VED:
SECTION 1:

22 accepted as having been completed in a satisfactory manner in accordance

The City Council hereby authorizes the
