A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTINQ THE BID OF CROWN BODY &. COACH CORP. FOR THE
FURNISHING OF ONE 1000 GALLON PER MINUTE CLASS "All TRIPLE
COMBINATION PUMPER IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS
APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1815 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

8 WHEREAS, on the 15th day of March, 19551' at 2 otclock p. m.
9 sealed bids were opened for the furnishing of one 1000 Gallon Per
10 Minute Class "All Triple Combination Pumper for use of the Fire Depart-
11 mem of the City of Vernoni and
12 WHEREAS, said bids were referred to L. C. Husted. Chief of
13 the Fire Department.f for checking and report; and
14 WHEREAS, L. C. Husted, Chief of the Fire Department,
15 reports to the City Co.uncil under date of March 15, 1955, recommending
16 that the contract be awarded to Crown Body &. Coach Corp. for the sum of
17 Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-nine &. 34{100 Dollars

(Including sales tax)
($17,899.34
), which is the lowest bid
19 meeting the bid re qulrement 51 of the specifications for the aforesaid
20 equipment, approved by Resolution No. 1815;
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Ve.rnon

does hereby authorize the execution of a contract with Crown Body&.
Coach Corp. for the f'urnishing of one 1000 Galton Per Minute Clags 'IA'l
TrlpleCombinaHon Pumper in accordance with said bid, and in accord-
ance with speciftcaUons approved by Resolution No. 18150! the City of

Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejectedi and the
City Clerk is hereby instructed and directed to return all checks to
unsuccessful bidders..
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

2 the same shaH be in full force and effect.
