SECTION 1:
That Resolution NO. 1722 be, and the same
14 is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2:
That A. W.PlUllips be.. and he is hereby
16 appointed Deputy state Purchasing Agent for the City of Vernon. and that
17 Clarence ForIlcrook be, and he is hereby appointed Assistant ])eputy
18 State Purchasing Agent for the City of Vernon, to act in the absence of
19 A. W. Ph.iUips..DepntyState Purchasing Agent for said City;

SECTION 3:
After a.State .of Extreme Emergency becomes
effective.. and in accordance with the advice of Regional Co.-o.rdinators,
subject to the limitations of the Civil Defense Act of the State of California,
the Deputy stat.ePurchasing Agent shan have authority to procure whatever
is :q.eeded upon request of the lo.cal Civil Defense Directo.rs.. or their
authorized assistants;
SECTION 4:
All purchases under the authority herein
given shall be made upon Procurement Order - Vendorfa Invoice.. Fo.r.m
OCD-53.
SECT ION 5:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to. the passage of thisR.esolution and thereupon and thereafter the
