RESOLUTION NO.. 1824
A RESOLtrTIONOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
EMPLOYING QUtNTON ENGINEERSJ/LTD. J/ TO MA~ A TRAFFIC
SURVEY AND FIXING THE .M.AXIMUM FEE THEREFOR.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS.. under date of December 21.. 1954, the City
7 Council of the City of Vernon, by Resolution .No.1792, employed
8 Quinton Engineers, Ltd.. to make a preliminary traffic survey in said
9 City; and
10 WHEREAS, Quinton Engineers, Ltd... has submitted an offer
11 to the City . Council of the City of Vernon, under date of March 30, 1955,
12 to make a tra.ffic survey covering the conditions and for a fee computed
13 as set forth In said letter, but not to exceed the sum of Fourteen thousand
14 Dollars ($14,000. (0); and
15 . WHEREAS, a. copy of said proposal.fia;olltfle with the City
16 Clerk ()f the City of V ernon; and
17 WHEREAS... the City Council believes it is for the best interes.t
18 of the City of Vernon that said survey be made an.d that an agreement be
19 entered into between the City of Vernon and Quinton Engineers.. Ltd.

20 NOW# THEREFORE:! BE IT RESOLVED:

Tha.t theJ4ayor and the City Clerk are hereby
SECTION 1:
22 authorized to execute an agreement for and on behalf of the City of Vernon
23 with Quinton Englneers~ Ltd. in accordance with its letter of March 30,
24 1955.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Yernon shall
certify to the pas:sage of this . Resotution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall .be lnfull force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5th day of April. 1955.
