A RESOLtlTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE FURNISHING.. ERECTING.. FAINTING AND DELIVERY
COMPLETE IN PLACE. INCLUDING GRADING .AND FOUNDATIONS. OF
FIVE WELDED STEEL WATER STORAGE RESERVOIRS OF APPROXIMATELY
ONE MILLION GALLON CAPACITY EACH.. AT PUMPING PLANTS NOS.
2 AND 3 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY . COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS: FOLl..OWS:
6 WBEREAS.A. W.Phillips. the City Engineer of the City of Vernon.
7 has reported to the City Council under date of ApriI29th. 1955. that the
8 work done by Consolidated Western Steel Division of United.$tates Steel
9 Corporation, for the furnishing, erecting, pain.ting. and delivery complete
10 in. place, including grading and foundations. of five (5) welded .steet water
11 s-torage reservoirs- of approximately one million gallon capacity each. at
12 pumping plants: Nos-. 2 .and 30f the City of Vernon. aU in accordance with
13 specifications NQ. 171 and plan Nas. :85-124.9. 115-1250. B5-1251. :85-125.2.
14 :85-1253. 115-1254. B5-1255 and :85-1253, which plans and s-pecifications
15 were approved October 27. 1953 hyResolution No.. HUn of the City Counc.il
16 of the CUyaf Vernon, has been com.plet.lin.a satisfactory manner; and
1 7 WBElt.EAS. said City Engineer' rep.ort.s that Consolidated Wes:tern
18 Steel Division. of United States Steel Corporation have completed all items
19 covered by the specifications an.d P1a:n.s. designated a:b()ye, and recommends
20 that said wo.rkbe accepted and that the contractors be adviaedof the
21 aeceptance;
