ACCEPTING THE FURNlSHINGQF ONE 1.. 000 GALLON CApACITY
PUMPING ENGINE IN ACCORDANCE WITH$PECIFICATIONS APPROVED
'BY RESOLUTIQNNO. 1815 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLU)W$:

WHEREAS" the City Council of the City of Vernon did
heretofore enter int.o a contract dated :March 15.. 1955 with Crown Body &
Coach Corporafionfor the furnish1ng.of one 1.. 000 gallon capacity pumping

engine; and

WHEREAS.. L. C. Busted.. Fire Chief of the City. Qf Vernon
has reported... under date of May 13.. 1955.. that said pumping engine has
been received. tested and is in accordance with specifications heretofore
approved. by Resolution No. 1815 of the CIty of Vernon:
NOWJ> THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the fUt'nishing of one 1.. 000 gallon
pumping engine No. F 1002.. Le Roi Motor ModeISB-H 54(), Seria160X441.
in accordance with contract entered into With Crown Body & Coach
Corporation, is herebya.ccepted as being satisfactory and in accordance
with specifications heretofore approved by Resolution No. 1815 of the
City of VeX-non.
SECTION 2:
There i.s now due Crown.J:)ody & Coach
Corporation under said contract the sum of $15.. 640.20.. being 90" of the
contract price plus sales tax of $521. 34.
SECTION 3:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby appr()ves and dire ciS payment 0!$16.. 161. 54 upon the adoption of
this resolution and the balance of the purchase price.. to wit.. $1.. 737.. 80..
35. days afte.r the date of adoption of this resolution.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the pasE{age of this R.esolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
