RESOLUTION NO. 18.45
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
F'INDINGLUER ROAD IN THE CITY OF VERNON IS UNNECESSARY
FOR PJlESENT OR PROSPECTIVE PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES AND
ORDERING ITS VACATION AND ABANDONMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT~ WHEREAS.. the City Council of the City of Vernon did
on the 21st day of June", 1955.1 pass its Ordinance of Intention No. 681,
declaring its intention to vacate and abandon that certain public street in
the City of Vernon officially known.. and commonly referred to.. as Luer
Road.. which is hereinafter fully described; and
WHEREAS, the City Counc.il in said Ordinance oflntention
No. 681", did fix the time for hearing all persons interested in or objecting
to the proposed vacation and abandonment as July 19", 1955 at 2 otcloek p. m.
in the Counc.il Chambers in the City Han of the City of Vernon.. 4305 Santa
Fe Avenue ;.and
WHERE.A,S.. notices of said hearing and of the proposed street
vacation were posted in the manner and form required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Vernon did hold
said hearing on July 19, 1955 at 2 o'clock p. m. in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue.. Vernon, California.. and no one
appearing to object to said vacation and the Council being fully advised in
the matter;
NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does find and declare from the evidence submitted to the City Council
that the property described in Ordinance of Jnt enti on No. 6.81", as hereinafter
deSCribed, is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon does
hereby make the following order", to wit: That all that portion of Luer
Road in the City of Vernon.. descrihed as follows:
