A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.YERNON
3 ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION NO. 2. FOR THE
CITYO:FVERNON, 3375 FRUITLAND AVENUE~ VERNON II CALIFQRNIA.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS. FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS,. the Winter Construction Company.. Inc. was
awarded the contract for the construction of Fire . Station No. 2 with
tower and appurtenances. at 3375 Fruitland Avenue# Vernon" California;

and
WHEREAS.. A. W. Phillips, City Engineer of the City of
Vernon has reported to the City Council under date of July 29. 1955 that
the said Winter Construction Company, Inc. has completed the con-
structton work on Fire Station No. 2 for the City of Vernon.. at 3375
Fruitland Avenue, Vernon.. California,. all in accordance withSpecifica-
tions No. 174# including Addenda No. 1 and No. 2. to said Specifications.
dated December 9.. 1953 and March 15,. 1954.. respectively, and Plan
No. B14-1275" Sheets 1. 5.. E-1and M-1 dated November 12... 1953 as
revised March 15.. 1954.. and Sheets No.2.. 3,. 4,. 6, 7.S-1,. S-2,. $-3
and $...A dated November 12, 1953, ina g.atisfactorymanner;and
WHEREAS, by agreement said Winter Construction Company,
Inc. has deducted the sum of $100.00 from the total contract price for
repair of the curb land
WHEREAS" said City Engineer recommends that the work be
accepted.
NOW1 THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the construction of Fire Station No.2
for the City of Yernon" at 3375 Fruitland Avenue" Vernon" Califor~a.f
be and the same .is herebya;;cepted as being satisfactory and in accordance
with specifications heretofore approved by Resolution No. 1743 of the
City ()f Vernon" $ubje.ct to a reduction of $100.00 in thecontracl price.
