A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF VERNON
3 AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF GAS. TAX. FUNDS WITHIN THE CITY
OF VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, the curb returns, cross gutters and pavement at
7 the intersections on Santa Fe Avenue from the North City limits to the
8 ~louth City limits are in need of removal and reconstruction, and the
9 City desires s.aid improvements to be made; and
10 WHEREAS, Santa Fe Avenue in the City of Vernon isa part of
11 the Major City Street system; and
12 WHEREAS" the City Engineer has estimated the cost of doing
13 the work, plus: engineering costs:, designated as ProjeGt 111, to be
14 $221368.25;
15 NOWII THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
17 requests: application of gas: tax funds for the doing of theafores:a:id work
18 on Santa Fe Avenue within the City of Vernon, to the full extent of gas
19 tax deposits credited to said City.

SECTION 2: That the application for said work designated as
21 Project 1111 as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Vernon" is
22 hereby approved.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
24 to the passage of this Resolution and thereup()nand thereafter the same
25 shall be in full force and effect.
