THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
10 directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the construction
11 of addition and alterations to Vernon City Hall in accordance with Specifica-
12 tions No. 187 and Plans Drawings No. B15-1357, consisting of Sheets Nos.
13 3, 4, 6" 9, 11, S-l, S-2" S-3,. S-4, S-5. 8-6, dated August 1, 1955 a.nd
14 Sheets Nos. 1. 2, 5, 7, 8" 10, 12. S-7, M-1, M-2, E-l and E-2 revised
15 August 26, 195.5, as prepared by Mr. Breo Freeman,. architect.

SECTION 2.:
There being no newspaper of general circulation
17 printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon" the City Clerk is
18 herehy directed to post said notice,. or cause the same to be posted. in
19 three of the most public places in said City, to wit: The northwest corner
20 of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard
21 and Pacific Boulevard, and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City
22 Hall of the City of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said City.

SECTION 3:
The first posting of said notice shall be not
less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the proposed work.
The notice shall distinctly state the work to be
done and the material to be furnished.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
to the passage of this: Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
