RESOLUTION NO. 1874
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
COMPROMISING CLAIM OF RODGER H. HEATH

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

6 WHEREAS. on or about August 15. 1951 Rodger H' Heath filed
7 a claim against the City of Vernon on account of injuries sustained in an
8 automobile accident, at which time said Rodger H. Heath was a minor;
9 and
10 WHEREAS, in June of 1955 said Rodger H. Heath reached his
11 majority; and
12 WHEREAS. said Rodger H. Heath has agreed to execute a
13 Release to the City of Vernon for all claims on account of said injuries
14 upon payment to him of the sum of One Hundred Thirty-five Dollars
15 ($135.00); and
16 WHEREAS. the City Attorney of the City of Vernon recommends
17 that said claim be compromised for said sum.
18 NOW" THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

That the City of Vernon pay to Rodger H.
SECTION 1:
20 Heath. who has now reached his majority. the sum of One Hundred Thirty-
21 five Dollars ($135.00) as a compromise of the claim of said Rodger H.
22 Heath. a minor. filed with the City of Vernon on or about August 15, 1951.
23 in consideration for a full release to be executed by said Rodger H. Heath.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of November. 1955.
