A RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.
3 CITY OF VERNON ON THE pASSING OF CHARLES TROWBRIDGE~ A
CITY COIINCILMAN OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLL.OWS:
WHEREAS.. our fellow councilman. Charles Trowbridge.. having
entered intore.st on January 10. 1956; and
WHEREAS. aaid Charles Trowbridge wa..sa.. re.s.ident of the City
of Vernon for fifty-three (53) .years. and a member of thi.s Council for
twelve (12) years: last past;
NOW~' THEREFORE, BE IT REMEMBERED:
That each member of the CityCounciI of the City of Vernon share
with the widow and. friends of Charles Trowbrid.gea deep feeling of loss;
Rest from Thy labor;
The battle fought.. the victory won,
He has entered. his Master's: house.
The pains of life and death are past..
Labor and s:orrow ceaae.
And life'a long labor closed.. at last
The soul has: ;found its peace.
BE IT RESOLVED:
