A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
IN APPRECIATION OF YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE BY ALBERT W.
PHILLIPS~ CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOL.LOWS:
WHEREAS, Albert W. Phillips, has been a valued employee of
the City of Vernon since January of 1938 as an engineer. and for some time
past has been City Engineer of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, his services have been capably and graciously
rendered to the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS. the City Council has found him to be cooperative
and faithful; and
WHEREAS, under the retirement system of the City of Vernon our
valued servant term.inates his services with the City on February 1. 1956;
and
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
place upon its official records a Resolution of appreciation for the fine and
faithful service rendered the City by Albert W.Phillips. City Engineer.
NOW ~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon does
21 cause this resolution to be spread upon its minutes and directs that a copy
22 thereof be delivered to Albert W. Phillips. City Engineer of the City of Vern n;

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk pf the City of Vernon is hereby
24 directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
