RESOLUTION NO. 1890
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPOINTING MR. LEONIS C. MALBURG TO THE CITY COUNCIL TO
FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF COUNCILMAN CHARLES TROWBRIDGE"
NOW DECEASED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. Councilman Charles Trowbridge passed away on
January 10, 1956; and
WHEREAS., by the death of said Charles Trowbridge it leaves
a vacancy on the Council of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appoint Mr. LeonisC.
Malburg to the City Council to fill said vacancy; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Leonis C. Malburg is a resident of the City
of Vernon and qualifies for said appointment;
NOW,p THEREFOREJ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby appoints Mr.. Leonis C. Malburg to fill the vacancy on the City Council
created by the death of Councilman Charles Trowbridge. to serve the
unexpired term of said Charles Trowbridge.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of Februarys 1956.
