6 THE CITy COtTNCIL OF THE C1TYOF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF .ANAGREEMENT BETWEEN.THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AN.D
THE CITY OF VERNON FOR PURCHASE OF TAX DELINQUENT LAND
FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR STREET PURPOSES.
7 WHEREAS. the statutes provide for the purchase of land deeded
8 to the State of California for delinquent taxes; and
9 WHEREAS. the property described. in the proposed Ag~eement
10 dated Februa.ry7. 1956 between the Board of Supervisors of the County
11 of Lo.sAngeles: and the City of Vernon is located within the public streets
12 of the City of Vernon.
13 I NOW#>. THEREFORE#> BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Mayor and the City Cle.rkare hereby
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk.of the Cityo.f Vernon shall
22 certify to the passage of this: Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
23 same shall be in full force and effect.
