A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ESTABLISffiNG THE OFFICE OF ASSIST ANT CITY ATTORNEY .AND
APPOINTING VINCENT R. POXON TO SAID OFFICE.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREASI the legal work of the City of Vernon needs
7 additional legal personnel to carry on the business of the City; and
8 WHEREAS, Vincent R. poxon is an attorney at law I duly
9 licensed to practice law in all of the Courts of the State of Californial
10 and is qualified to assist in said work.

11 NOW If, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
That the office of Assistant City Attorney is
SECTION 1:

13 hereby established.
That Vincent R. poxon is hereby appointed to
SECTION 2:

15 said office.. to serve without compensation.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
17 certify to the passage of this: Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
18 same shall be in full force and effect.
