RESOLUTION NO. 1918
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3, APPROVING CHANGE ORDERS NOS. 9 ANn 10# .PREPARED BY JAMES
M. MONTGOMERY~ CONSULTING ENGINEER# COVERING ADDITIONAL
4 WORK AT PUMPING PLANTS NOS. 2 AND 3 UNDER SPECIFICATIONS
NO. 185 OF SAlD CITY.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS I under date of July 51 1955" the City Council of
8 the City of Vernon accepted the bid of Alex Robertson Compa.ny for the
9 construction of booster pumping plantsl pipelines and related work at
10 Pumping Plants Nos. 2 and 31 in accordance with Specifications No. 1851
11 Plans Sheets 1 to 16 inclusive and Addendum No. 1 to said Specifications;
12 and
13 WHEREASI Harold A. Barnett" Consulting Engineer.. has
14 presented to the City Council with his letter of April 111 19561 Change
15 Orders Nos. 9 and 10 as prepared by James M. Montg.omery" Consulting
16 Engineerl and recommends approval and execution of said Change Orders
17 by the City of Vernon;
18 NOW # THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Change Orders Nos. 9 and 10" as pre-
20 pared by James:M. :Montgomery" Consulting Engineer.. modifyingSpecifica-
21 tions No. 1851 be approved and that an order be given for the furnishing of
22 additional materials and work on each of said Change Orders.

SECTION 2:
The Consulting Engineer is hereby authorized

24 to execute said Change Orders for and on behalf of said City.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
