RESOLUTION NO. 1927
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF BOOSTER PUMPING PLANTS#
PIPE LINES AND RELATED WORK AT PUMPING PLANTS NOS. 2. AND
4 3 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 185. PLANS" . SHEETS
1 TO 16 INCLUSIVE AND ADDENDUM NO.1 TO SAID SPECIFICATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. the Alex Robertson Company was awarded the
contract for the construction of Booster Pumping Plants.. Pipe Lines and
related work at Pumping plants Nos. 2 and 3 of said City; and
WHEREAS. Harold A. Barnett.. Consulting>>:: ngineer of the City
of Vernon has reported to the City Council under date of April 26. 1956. that
the said Alex Robertson Company has completed the construction work in
accordance with Specifications No. 185. plans. sheets 1 to 16 inclusive and
Addendum No. 1 to said specifications. in a satisfactory manner; and
WHEREAS. . said City Engineer recommends that the work be
accepted.
NOW # THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the construction of Booster Pumping
Plants. pipe lines and related work at Pumping 'plants Nos. 2 and 3 be and
the same is hereby accepteclas being s.atisfaetory and in accordance with
Specifications No. J85. plans. sheets 1 to 16. inclusive. and addendum No. 1
to said specifications heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shan
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day of May.. 1956.
